Full Spotify Android?

Anyone able to tell me how to get full spotify integration over android in the 6 series?

I can get it to play spotify tracks as an external device over bluetooth of course, but I can't browse through my playlists or anything clever like that.

I have installed the connected app. On the I drive it shows connected for media and phone, but the "apps" tick box keeps appearing and disappearing....
