I've seen this setup at different airports including Atlanta and I don't trust them. I don't know how many times I've seen the sign indicate there is supposed to be about 100 spaces available and I can't find but a few or even none! Lol. I think airport personnel forget to refill the blinker fluid.

Thankfully Halifax Airport is small and not terribly busy. I have never even really looked at that sign because the garage is never close to full. When I'm flying myself I leave my car home and take a cab so I don't have to even think about it. It's especially nice when you get home and just walk out and hop in a cab and he takes you home. I'm always exhausted after a flight, I don't sleep on planes.

Yeah I totally get it. I feel the same sometimes. On the other hand, back in the day when we were allowed to travel, I would sometimes love to get back into my own car after having a shitty rental during a business trip. It's like being in heaven!

I usually try to time my place in line for a cab to get a Towncar so I get nice cushy ride home. Doesn't always work but I'm good for about 60-70%. My ride is almost all highway as the airport is outside the city and I live on the same side of the city as the airport.

Yeah, that makes sense. I can definitely appreciate that after returning from a business trip overseas though. I don't sleep well on planes either.

Speaking of YHZ, did you know when it open in 1960 it was the first place in Nova-Scotia that had a set of "escalators"...

Huge lines up to try them

I didn't know that. It's an interesting bit of trivia though.
