I believe i have read every post on this subject. The consensus is its too expensive and not worth it. That being said, i have two questions:

1. Has anyone successfully retrofitted the adaptive LED headlights on a grancoupe, coupe or vert in the states? If so, you have made my day!!!! Please come forward and talk to me.

It appears this done overseas pretty frequently. This shop bimmercoder in malaysia does it. My luck. I find i shop but they are in malaysia.

2. For those that tried and aborted, what happened and what was the barrier?

Im committed to doing this and willing to pay to achieve it but don't want to be the first. Any guidance is welcomed.

I also live in dc in the rare chance someone has done this locally or tried and failed with a shop here in the DMV area. Thanks!

I've done that a week before in the following constellation

PreLCI M6GC Adaptive LED to LCI Adaptive LED

It's a lot of wiring work but this isn't the biggest problem.
Via VO coding it seems not to be possible getting the headlights run. I tried it with the 0715 time stamp in VO but no luck. Also I tried an other key type but also no luck. So the only way to get them work was via FDL coding. Since yesterday every function seems to work but some PWM outputs seem to be not correctly coded. That's why I'd need a FDL coding list of a real lci cars frm module.

Regards
Max

Have you got selective beam working? If so this would go top of my wish list mods.

Yes, selective beam and all the adaptive light modes work fine. Only function what's not working is cornering light.

Isn't there an issue with cornering lights on the X3 or X5 in America? Vaguely remember seeing a post about then not working on adaptive let's.

Any tips on the wiring? This is something I'm interested in doing. Currently got adaptive led by wanted selective beam.
