Lights not working one side

So today been driving the car all day. So just now I needed to nip out to get something from back seats and I noticed the rear dome light wasn't working. Thought the kids may have turned it off. Tried the other two reading light buttons and they came on fine. Then I started the car and got daytime side light error and vertical aim adjust now the driver side front head lights including beam and rear drl on driver side also are not working. Indicators is fine and so is brake lights. Very odd? Any ideas?

What's the car battery's voltage? Could the battery be discharged?

Im not sure how to check the voltage of the battery but i had been using the car pretty much all day. We had some heavy rain, I suspect it may be due to water causing an issue.

Hmm... some options to explore...

- Fuse?

- Wiring or connector issue. Is the car stored outside or where critters might get to wiring? You also mentioned rain - shouldn't be an issue unless water is getting where it shouldn't be - you should be able to inspect for this.

- Light module (electronics) malfunction?

Do you have an OBDII scanner? I'd see if you can get a code as a starting point. Maybe also look for a wiring diagram if necessary.

If you don't have a multimeter to check the battery...you can UNLOCK your instrument cluster an go to the Voltage test (it used to be TEST #9 back during the E chassis era)...but now it has a different TEST nbr.

You can find videos on YouTube pretty easy for a visual instruction on how to unlock the F series instrument clusters.

TIP: add up the last 5 digits of your VIN...that will be the "magic integer" required to UNLOCK your cluster to access the "hidden tests".

With the car in the "radio-ready" state (PRESS the START button with foot OFF of the brake & engine NOT running)...you will see the voltage of the car's battery. With the engine running...you'll get the voltage of the car's charging system (alternator).
