F13 Comp package springs
Hello Everyone!
As some of you might know, i purchased an M6 comp pack that was previously lowered and i wanted to bring it back to factory height. I believe there are springs on the car currently and wanted to know how much it would cost to bring it back to factory height. One think I like to do on forums is to post up information that I'm not able to find myself. One instance where I couldn't find the information is when i was trying to find the different part numbers for the comp pack springs. I called BMW and got the following information. The springs are different between the comp pack and the non comp pack (at least for 2015), but price wise they are similar. Part numbers: Font Spring: 1337850121 Rear Spring: 3537850127 Price: Front: BMW quoted 217.65 (173.76 on ECS) each Rear: BMW quoted 197.89 (151.48 on ECS) each Does anyone think bringing it back to stock height with factory springs is a bad idea? I could go with a coil over setup but as far as i know the factory suspension is fantastic, and i would like to keep the factory adjustability. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on this! |
