Indiana looked good, particularly on defense. I’d say UGA and Indiana closed the regular season the strongest, followed by Ohio State and TTU.

I think any of the top 11 or so so teams are capable of beating any other team on any given day. It’s a shame the playoffs will need to include 2 G5 teams or a 5-loss Duke plus a G5 team.

Personally, I think Miami and ND (in that order) should be the last 2 at large teams in and Bama should be out after losing 2 of their last 4 and looking awful on top of a week 1 loss to FSU. I am biased, of course, and expect they will screw us and put ND and Bama in over us to “not penalize” Bama for playing in the SECCG. They moved Bama up a spot last week to give them room to drop a spot and stay in and they have consistently ignore our win over (a favored) ND week 1.

My Buckeyes shit the bed on Saturday night. To me, seemed like Brian Hartline's mind was in FLA dreaming about his new job and not actually coaching and making better play calls.

Buckeyes will right the ship and go on a run to win back to back National Championships. Hope they have a rematch against Indiana...blow their asses out of the water next time!

We'll I'm hoping the Canes get past TAMU and have something to say about that!

Truly happy we are in, but what a road ahead. Need to get through TAMU the the Buckeyes and then UGA just to get to the finals. No complaints though - just happy the committee did the right thing, at least as far as the Canes are concerned.

I read somewhere that the Buckeyes were supposed to play in the Orange bowl but last min it was decided by the committee to move them to the one they are in so Miami wouldn't get home field advantage. Makes sense.

Yeah we blew it by losing to 2 teams we should have beaten or would be a top seed with the quarterfinal game at home. If we somehow make it to the championship game, that is also in Miami.

So either we or TAMU play OSU in the Cotton Bowl. Not the same advantage as we would have playing in the stadium where we play our home games, but I think the Cotton Bowl would be more favorable to TAMU than OSU. Maybe there was another option to be less favorable to the lower seeded team.

Season starts over for 12 (well really 10) teams now. So whatever happened before Sunday no longer matters and everyone is 0-0.

I was surprised Indiana beat OS, neither team had a good offense both teams great defense. I can’t believe Notre Dame is threatening the acc over their support for Miami, that’s a complete disgrace.

Notre Dame being allowed to continue without being in a conference always gets under my skin and I always hope for them to lose. I was looking forward to my Sooners to take care of them first round but i guess they want a bama/ou rematch

I find it hilarious that had ND fully joined the ACC they would have likely won the conference championship and been in.

I’m glad in hindsight that they are being left out this year. My perspective is this, people used to argue about BCS getting it wrong with 1-2. You sometimes had the second best team missing out by getting ranked third. Then it was getting the wrong 4 teams in when the playoffs first started. It is 12 freaking teams now. There really should be zero arguing at this point if you can’t make it in with the current format. Play better and be better.

On unrelated note the CFP rankings just should come out once at the end of year. Doing it for weeks and weeks gives some teams/schools false sense of security. I think this is the issue many ND people are upset about with Miami jumping ND when both didn’t play.

This whole new memorandum guarantee BS though if they are top 12 next year is absolutely ridiculous. I would love to see them play no ranked opponents next year... Start ranked 15th and go undefeated but stay 15th lol.
