What we need to do is work our a points system.
Work out years based on when it went from the small idrive controller to the big touch one (I think this was MY14?) Then another bump for LCI which was MY16. So perhaps MY14 cars get +5 points, MT15 get +6 (because there isn't much difference) then MY16 get +10 and MY17 get +11 CP gets +10 Full leather gets +5 Executive Package gets +5 343m gets +1 (the only forged wheel option and much lighter than 433m or 601m) 0-10k miles gets +5 10k-20k miles gets +2 20k-30k miles gets 0 30k-40k miles gets -2 50k + miles gets -5 Thoughts? I didn't worry about colours as it is too personal and the CCBs have too many negatives. |

I reckon give it a few days to see if anyone else thinks my scoring is all kinds of wrong and if there are any other suggestions - I just thought of the MPE/Akrapovic option being +2 as well.
Drivers assistance - +1? It is an M car, not a 2 litre diesel for commuters I don't see it as being too important myself |

Wow! You guys have been scooping up these cars on the big board. Half of them are now sold in less than 2 weeks of posting! List updated for the week. Slim pickings this week, the replacements doesn't compare well with what was just sold.

Lol, if they paid me $50 per sale, I'll barely breakeven bc I'd have to pay to be a forum "vendor" as I'll be doing it for commercial purposes.

Hey, I'm the original thread creator and have so far updated my list once a week or so. Regarding the car you linked, I identified it a few pages ago. It's certainly unique with the frozen bronze, but it doesn't have ZCP IIRC. Anyways, to answer you questions 1. Generally, I haven't seen any endemic issues of the S63B44. Granted the M6 has the TU0 - technical update #1. Since you're a X5M owner and F10(?) M5 owner, you would know more what can go wrong with a S63 as I've only owned my car for 1 month. 2. I had to think hard myself about buying a used M6 with CCBs. If you're buying used, this is a major consideration and issue. Firstly you need to know how many miles are left on the CBS for the pads. Second, you need to know your ownership horizon. If your horizon is such that you will have to replace the rotors, IMO, steer away. Either you will shell out $12k for replacement or you'll have to convince your next buyer to do so, and at that time your car will be severely discounted vs steel brake versions. Even if you elected to pay for the replacement brakes, it's not like your car will go at a premium either. It is recommended to change pads at CBS intervals or even at 50% of the intervals. To check for rotor wear read this: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1302752 You need to check the wear indicators on the rotors for a rough estimate: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1115439 3. Search google for the official BMW instructions on matte paint maintenance. From what I recall, it was super easy and even easier than regular colors as you don't have to wax.

There's a new #1 in town. Fuck, it's making me regret my purchase. Moonstone, individual interior, 6k miles $63k.
Don't think. Buy now, think later. Holy shit.

Wow. A 2014 with only 6100 miles? Extremely rare. I could live with the interior!

The only thing I would change on that car is to rip off that stupid M Performance sticker and eventually drop $3k in a CF trim. That wood trim does not look good at all.

#2. Oh my god. And what a color (SMB).
Why do you think people are steering away from this one? Lack of service records? |

Sorry but that interior is hideous, in my opinion.
On the CF trim......I am torn, I have the dark gray poplar wood with Sakhir Orange interior, at first i really wanted the Carbon Fiber. but as I've had the wood I really like it alot...but I still like the CF.... decisions decisions.... I'll just go drive ! |
