Yes. I can navigate to a thread from there and everything appears fine.

It seems that top two articles of the homepage link to threads from a ‘subforum that is only visible to me’ when I am not logged in.

So, since when I’m logged in there are certain subforums that aren’t shown to me… when trying to follow a link from the homepage that goes to a thread in those subforums… then it shows the error because because, for whatever reason, I can’t access those threads while logged in.

Edit: I’ve checked the forums of various ‘series’ from the top menu…. And in all of them, at the top appear first a series of series-specific subforums, and below always appears the BIMMERPOST Universal Forums

But for the G50 NA0 only the BIMMERPOST Universal Forums are shown while logged in. The series-specific subforums for the G50 NA0 only appear if I’m not logged in.

Hi, great work so far, looks great and works well for me.

A suggestion, if possible. When I go to My Subscriptions page, it would be real handy if there was a button at the top of the list that says and does something like open all new posts in new separate tabs. I normally open my subscriptions and then have to right click and open in a new tab each and every new post in my subscription list to see the latest posts. It would be so handy if that could all be done in one click. Just a suggestion, if possible.

Interesting concept, something like this could be done, but the issue is that it might not be the way everyone would want to use it. How about something in the floating top bar (where you see the pagination), that has text along the lines of "goto next unread subscribed thread" be equally useful? Essentially a way to progress through subscriptions with unread posts but still within the same window

Playing devil's advocate, my browser would crash from running out of memory if it opened all of my subscriptions (or unread posts) in a bunch of separate tabs after a few days away from the forum.....

apptest still happening. I can only see G50 NA0 subforums when not logged. Only happens with those specific subforums, because while logged, I can see everything else just fine.

Today, 11:00PM on March 27, Eastern Standard Time, the G45 forum doesn’t work. I get “404 - Page Not Found.” That is the original software version. NOT the beta version.

So I jumped to the beta version for G45, and I couldn’t submit a post. I tried, but I was unsuccessful. I was logged in. When I clicked “SUBMIT POST” I received an error message saying something like “THERE WAS A PROBLEM SUBMITTING THIS POST. LET AN ADMINISTRATOR KNOW.” :-(

Lastly, just one comment about the new format of the beta version. I don’t like that the last page button isn’t shown when all the threads are listed. It is buried. I must click the generic page button and then click the last page #. That is two clicks. Compared to the original software version where the last page is readily shown and only involves 1 click. It might seem like nitpicking, but for those of us who follow the forums religiously, all we care about is reading the last page and reading the most recent posts. Having extra clicks can get frustrating. Just my 2 cents.

The Bimmerpost Universal Forums are missing from the pull down menus. I always have a hard time trying to find the Bimmerpost Universal Forums.

I was doing alot of work around that time, it should hopefully be back to normal now?

Also for the last post thing it's supposed to goto your last unread post (if you are logged in). if you just want to goto the last post (logged in or not), you can hover your mouse on the page count and a list of pages will popup and you click on the page you want. SO its still 1 click

Regarding the last page topic, I didn’t know that when I’m logged in, it will automatically direct me to the last page. That is good to know. Regarding the hovering the mouse over the page, I typically use an iPhone or iPad, so hovering the mouse isn’t possible. From now on, I suppose I’ll have to make sure I’m logged in when viewing the posts.

About the last page, I might add a gori last page icon next to pages list for iPad users. I don’t want things to get too cluttered so no promises

As for the 404, could you show me a link where you are still seeing that and I can look into it more

Will there be an option in the new forum to set how dates of each post are shown? It's currently defaulting to US MM-DD-YYYY format which is ambiguous and potentially confusing for many dates read by non-US people.

Great suggestion, this was on my original roadmap but has been pushed to the back burner as things popped up here and there. But thank you for bringing it back up to my attention, I will start work on this very soon. It is a very involved (read: time consuming) thing to do, so it will for sure take time to evolve, but if you start noticing it working in some places and not other places, please feel free to update the thread with problems related to it that you might notice.

I introduced the preliminary draft for this stuff just now. If you goto your settings page (click on your name at the top right -> settings -> language and formatting) and change that to what you want and see if things are formatted more sensibly for you.

Even without doing anything it's clearer after your change, in that it defaults to Mar 27, 2026. I tested English (United Kingdom) and that works, I now have 27 Mar, 2026. Thank you.
