Twinning…. On another note. Still can’t figure out why this is called the XM label. Why not XM competition? They need help in the marketing department. First XM label red, then XM Label, the competition name is used across other models already……but I digress

LOL! I should have put SiriusXM. 😂😂😂

I don’t know why I like this vehicle so much. It’s really not a great looking vehicle, but definitely has that “eff you” attitude. In all fairness, my iX M60 is just as ugly. Perhaps that’s why I love both of these vehicles so much.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures! I can’t tell if the one I found in Corpus Christi, Texas has that red stripe on the outside or not. I don’t see the delete option on the build sheet, so I’m not sure if it’s there or not.

Best of luck.
I know that their tracking is like USPS tracking.
Sometime is good and exact, sometime are not.
2 cars I've ordered, '20 X3MC and '21 X5 were under QC for weeks, then suddenly dealer called said the car has arrived.

It’s the extended shadow line trim=no red trim

Thanks! It’s highly unlikely I will end up with this vehicle, but it would definitely be a no go with the red stripe. Don’t really care for the red/black wheel combo, but that seems to be how most of them are being configured which I understand from a marketing perspective. I would prefer the 23 inch wheels instead. As in life, it’s all going to come down to price.

I only know of this dealership because when I was looking for my iX M60 in January, they were nowhere to be found in the Houston market. I found mine on the BMW USA website and it hadn’t even arrived off the boat yet, so I was able to snag it before arrival. This is a very small dealership, although they are open to all markets in Texas. Perhaps if it doesn’t sell in their timeframe, I’ll have some room to negotiate. If I could get it at the price of the normal XM, it would be very hard for me to say no. Wishful thinking though.

According to the build sheet and the BMW USA configurator, this is what the XM Label should look like when it arrives. Probably exactly what the OP’s will look like as well. I did ask that dealer to run some numbers, but I don’t think it’s realistic that they’re going to get the numbers down to where I want them to be.

I went back-and-forth with the 22 black and red versus 23 inch wheels. I too prefer the 23 inch ones. However, there must be a reason why they released 22 inch black and red ones for this label edition so I went with them. I am hoping slightly improved performance being smaller/lighter???? Better ride???

It will definitely be a better ride, especially running over potholes and things like that. Not sure you’re going to notice much else. Performance? Probably negligible.

Update: I’ve spoken to three Houston area dealers today and the XM Label’s are all available for sale. They all go into production either this week or next week with December deliveries. All of them are frozen black metallic with the 22” red/black wheels with the exception of one which is lime rock gray - which is not listed on the configurator tool.

Awesomeness! My decision will be in part based on the photos of your vehicle when you get it! The three or four that I have been looking are not due to arrive until December. I imagine yours will be sometime around then too, hopefully sooner. Trying to lock one of these babies down before some a-hole customers have a chance to test drive it!

These are not X3s. I don’t suppose the dealer(s) just hands the keys to anybody wanting to “test drive.”

Congrats OP. Exciting times ahead.

They’ll let anyone test drive it if they think the buyer is serious. It’s easy to put on a show. I absolutely refuse to spend that much money on a vehicle that’s been test driven by anyone else let alone all of those dealer installed options. If it’s not mine before delivery, I don’t want it.

I will take pictures as soon as it lands! Last time I spoke to BMW genius they said it should be here before November 1. Once carrier is asssigned I have had previous SUVs arrive in one day from SC.

Being that they’re built in North America, it can’t take more than a month to get to you. Can’t wait to see your pictures! I may actually put a deposit on several of these vehicles. That way I have some room to negotiate without rhe risk of losing one.

Really happy for you, man!

Man, I’m really sorry the haters and trolls are slamming your upcoming vehicle on that other thread. Completely tasteless.

Thanks for your thoughts. I hope you end up with one as well if it’s in the cards. At this stage in my life nothing anyone can say or do really bothers me, just on these forums to learn from each other and share our knowledge on my free time!

Been getting that treatment when my thread got featured, lol.
I just don't understand why they even have to comment if they don't like it.
I guess negativity is the new trend.
