Thanks! I'm on Cloud-9. We talked quite a bit last night and it gets better and better. It's just really fun and so relaxing to be with her. Completely different to the previous person I dated which was always a chore.

She's pretty amazing and extremely accomplished, professionally!

Sara did the right thing to use her initiative and stay away.

Not to discount the crazies that are out there, because they are; but I don't see this going down like that. Especially considering he's the one that offered to get it back to her. He didn't have to message at all stating that he had it. He could have just as easily tossed it out and been done. Humans typically want to do the right thing. It's the bullshit that happens in the interim that causes people to lose their shit.

I would have seen it as totally reasonable using other means seing the journey was 40 odd miles? there and the return wasting time driving but you and me are not like that oddball who even suggested throwing it away so we can't imagine ourselves with his mindset and I don't believe you would throw something away like that.

You are right here. Now, I would not have driven it 40 miles to return it, but I would not have raised any sort of issue with her coming to get it. If I were to make the offer and the response was an uber or some other form of retrieval as a form of getting out of seeing me when I had been nothing but nice (I can't say he has been a stellar gentleman - as I don't know this; I can only attest to how I am with ladies) yeah, it would have got under my skin.

Disclaimer: In no way am I condoning his behavior, but I'm sure as shit not condoning hers either.

I havent read all the responses, but I never told him I was sending an uber, etc. All I told him was that I'd make it easy and send him a prepaid label. Then I told him that I would swing by to get it Monday after work. No big deal, right?

Yes, I actually tried to send an Uber (unfortunately there were no cars available) but I never told him I was going to do that. This whole time he thinks I was going to show up. So for him to be this difficult is just not fair to me. He has no idea who's currently en route to pick up my jacket and I don't have to tell him that at this point. All he had to do was leave it in the mailbox like he said he was going to, but he couldn't even do that for me.
