My Mossberg 500 that I am waiting on an approved Form 1 on to get it cut down. Plan is to also add a orange front night sight as well. JK VersaX can is still in jail too that I will run on this and my 870.

Totally stoked with this one. Purchased a Christensen Arm Ridgeline FFT with a 16.5” barrel. Rifle on the left is a Steyr Model M .270 with a 22” barrel. Basicaly a standard deer rifle. The end result is an ultra light weight rifle that is shorter and lighter than standard with a suppressor.

Another 300 rounds of 124gr Ranger NATO FMJ, 50 rounds of 124gr Ranger +P T-series and 50 rounds of Hornady 135gr +P Flexlock JHP. No issues. Holster from ANR came in.

Not sure if it's been mentioned over the last 327 pages, but the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol is pretty great. I picked one up after debating between that and the 1301 for a NY-legal home defense option, going with the less expensive option. In truth, though, the A300 has a much broader loading port and some of the controls felt more intuitive to me.

I've only run a limited number of rounds through it (mostly to zero the RDS), but this shotgun is top notch. I'm not a shotgunner, so the complaints that it doesn't shoot as fast as the 1301 don't resonate with me. It shoots fast enough for me.

I like it enough that I may have to get one just to play with when I'm in AZ.

Beretta is a joke. I had a 1301 that would not cycle reliably. Sent it back to them TWICE & they claimed it was good yet nothing changed. I was promised a buy back if still no good prior to the 2nd return trip.

They quickly said they never told me that & refused to take their POS back. F that company

I have heard good and bad about the 1301s. I never bought one. My 25 year old Benelli M1 Super 90 is still kicking.

Daughter’s Shield Plus with manual safety came in today. The P09 I bought because it was on sale came in as well. This thing is a beast!

I have resisted many of the CZ deals this year, already have a Shadow2 which I love, but some of the deals are very hard to pass up.

I have a 1301 comp pro, which even after a year I have never shot I hope I like it when I finally get around to. Have a M4 tactical which is just awesome, wish some of the controls on the 1301 were on the M4.

Got a laugh today as PSA already has braced ARs back in their daily emails, that was pretty quick after the rule was invalidated late last week. Plus the whole ghost gun regulations also overruled.

So those ammo limits and rules likely have no chance, most are ridiculous. 100 round limit on 50 cal, so many states have banned 50 cal. I have never heard of a crime involving 50 cal. I guess I could deal with 1000 rd limits on a txn, would have to breakup a few orders per year. I see no prupose in them knowing how much and often I buy ammo.

You won't find a crime with a 50 cal - it's an easy scare tactic. "You can shoot it 5 miles and still goes thru an engine block!" The goal is to get the bans going. It's easier to add something to the ban than it is to ban something to begin with. Whatever they can ban/limit is the goal. It does not have to make sense.

It's just low hanging fruit. I rarely buy 1,000 rounds a year (unless you add in shotgun shells) but accepting that is the same thing. Just a beginning. Moving it from 1,000 to 500 is far easier than going from no limits to 1,000.

I buy my 9mm and 5.56 1k rounds at a time usually. I would do the same with 308 but it is pricey right now.

Took the SCAR17 and sighted it in. What an awesome firearm. It is a tac driver.

Before Covid, I was shooting ~1000 rounds a month ~750 9mm and ~250 223/5.56

Since the prices have skyrocketed, I've cut back a lot. But I still buy 1K here and there.

I shoot a ton of .22 as well. I'll be shooting ~350 this coming Sat morning at a Steel Challenge. Pew Pew...

Heck back when I was having fun with NFA I'd have 15-20 thousand rounds of 9mm, 223 and 308 delivered to my house at a time. They would leave it at the garage door if I wasn't home.

Betting that has a few soccer mom hearts twitching out of rhythm.

I feel like prices on 9mm and 223 are getting back to normalize again? I see sub 25 cent 9mm every day and have seen (not great, but still) 223/556 for under 50 cents a lot. Compared to the buck around we were seeing for the cheap shit in 2020-2022 - I'm happy to see them drifting down.
