It's been 0C and raining here since around noon, supposed to taper off in the late evening. Not freezing thankfully.

Roads are 90% fine.

Edit: drove home, roads are not fine. Crossed an imaginary line going north and everything went white.

I saw on the news this morning that Scotland and the northern parts of Britain are seeing a significant snowstorm, cold, wind, etc today.....

Potholes are crazy out here because of all the rain we've had recently. Was driving this morning and saw 6 cars pulled over because of the damage they got from several potholes all in a row. If it wasn't for the cars pulled over and the safety cones that were there I might've been in that lane with all the potholes and probably would have damage too.

Unusually warm with very high humidity. I've been staring at dense fog outside my office windows for the last five hours. It's been eerie; waiting for a werewolf to walk by or something.

Frost warnings thru Friday morning, along with high wind warnings. Not quite sure how the 2 can be combined

Remember, I’m in SoCal, so frost is almost as foreign as water falling from the sky

We're having an early January thaw through Saturday, and may see highs in the mid to upper 40's F before returning to seasonal for next week. Only about 2 inches of snow left on the ground, which has been continuously covered with at least patches of snow since Thanksgiving weekend in late November.....

Instead of snow we've had the usual rain, roads are wet and of today its a damp 5C high.

Here in Cincinnati, OH the weather is all over the place. Going to be 61 today then lots of rain over the next day or two, then back down to the 20s and 30s then 50s again and back down in the 20s. No wonder the roads are garbage around here.

Atleast after this weekend the sun will be out and the rain will wash away any little bit of salt that is left on the roads.

Currently 63F and windy. SSE blowing 18mph gusting to 41mph. Rain in forecast to last I looked 1pm.

Also area under a tornado watch. I think the risk is pretty low. (Later today and into tomorrow eastern Louisiana and western Mississippi are I think in for a much higher tornado risk.)

At any rate not the usual January weather...

First sunny day in a couple of weeks, though it’s still pretty cool at 60°F.

Supposed to get Santa Ana winds next week. Gusts could be up to 50 mph. Ground is still saturated from all the rain we got. Hopefully everything stays put and we don’t lose any trees.

We were sunny and upper 40's F here today, with rain of some form or another forecast through the weekend.

Per the world news, the southwest part of the UK is getting hammered by a bomb cyclone, with wind gusts of 90+ MPH in multiple shore towns and a foot of snow in the midlands. Watching tonight's Arsenal match in North London on the telly, there was a major downpour at kickoff and another round of moderate rain in the final minutes of the game.....

Generac is on duty until it comes back sometime in the early morning.
