At sunset last night we got these He-UGE drops of water on the windshield. Just enough to have to hit the wipers, and make the streets really slick. I certainly didn't like the way that semi was coming up on me in the turn pocket!
Today it's sunny and 65 with a slight breeze. Much the same for the foreseeable future

Terrible wind and rain up to past lunchtime then settled down and would you believe sunshine is peeping out now at 12C. Ideal to take our pooch for a walk now.

Had to bust out the ice scraper for the windows this morning. It was very frosty. And I just swapped to winter tires 2 days ago! Good timing
 The leaves are starting to fall really quickly now that frost hit them. Still lots to go though. No sign of sweater weather temperatures in the forecast anymore. |

This morning it was 71 before sunrise when I got to work. Today could actually feel the Santa Ana influence. Truck read 86 when I went out just before noon.

We're expecting over an inch of rain here today, followed by clearing and high winds for Halloween tomorrow. I suspect that the few remaining leaves on the trees will be gone by the weekend.....
