I've gotten drastically more comments running a very uncommon color than I have any vehicle I've owned. This includes a few first generation platforms making them non-existent in my area.

That woman is my wife, and the buggy is her BMW.

The only attention my car gets is from males ranging from teenagers (like the one who loudly proclaimed to his friend that my car was 320d Touring before he read the badge) to an old man who parked next to me in his Dodge Challenger and immediately asked me what my car is.

Most women who notice it just comment on what a lovely colour it is.

Agree. I've had some compliments about my Thundernight in several weird locations, by men and women.

Naw, super easy to understand. The truck is a more masculine vehicle than the BMW; that's why women love guys with trucks. I get more looks in my Frontier than either of my BMWs. Case in point, my last girlfriend; picked her up in the B7, crickets. Picked her up in my old '97 Tacoma, got "I love when you pick me up in your truck."

The only people I've seen complimenting men's cars are other men.

From a more objective standpoint, there are a lot of high end cars around where I live and one would need something along the lines of a lambo/ferrari/mclaren to get noticed by the opposite sex and even that's not a guarantee. A flowmaster on the other hand...

When I show the picture of my car to my friend's gf, the first thing come out of her mouth is "you must have no wife" lol. My answer is I love my freedom

So my conclusion is M car doesn't get you any women
