Been in both cars (didnt drive them) and i found out the ride in the M6 is better than the SL63, I love the exterior of the SL and the hard top but the interior of the M6 is much better. But the M6 is way too heavy. I'd rather have the M5 over both of them.

I'm definitely a fan of the SLS vert, what are the many other cars that own this space?

I wonder if the ceramic brake option on the M6 would have made up for it. The Merc had them.....

It cracks me up reading some of the excuses the BMW fanboy make about not being the right car to compare to, bringing up non-exsting cars, etc.
Let's face it, the M5 amd M6 are porky car by industry standard. The current 5 series weights more than an AWD Audi A6 for crying out loud! Instead of making excuses, we should be questioning why are BMW making these cars so heavy. Making more power out of an engine is child's play. Real acomplishments is to make a lighweight chasis. Instead of saving money by recycling the 7 series platform, BMW should have spent the money to develop a lightweight platform for the 5/6 series. BMW will continue to lose comparison test to the competition until they do so. |
