I think is not good for me. That car is fast but I think they did 1000 laps to get there and the other two only had 1 lap. Program was sponsored by Honda. Lol

Way WAY MORE interested in the Focus RS, which looks to be an sti, s3/gti r and 235 killer. If the AWD is as good as they say (torque vectoring), it's going to be a steal for 35k, in how much bang for the buck on the track.

Why does everyone think it's a huge deal that another car is faster than an M3? Did BMW ever claim that the M3 is the fastest car in the world? Would someone SERIOUSLY consider a Civic vs. an M3? I doubt there's doing to be someone out there that WON'T buy the M3 just because this little Civic is faster.

You got the Focus RS, Subie STi and Golf R so I'd say there's a market here. |

I hear ya. My sister has a V10 R8 and a mint 97 Hype R. The Hype R is much more fun to flog. Yes, I am being serious.

It's because if you flog the V10 R8 too much, you'll end up dead or in jail. You can flog the shit out of a Type R and still stay within reasonable speeds and have a great time doing it.

The R8 is fun, until half way through second gear. Then you are in arrested, car impounded and $10,000 fine territory. Fun for about 6 seconds. The Type R can be flogged and tossed all day. Just get old people shaking their fists at you. |

He would have a heart attack if you tried to put him in one. Then upon seeing him in a Honda, his bitch ass neighbor would have a heart attack too; chalk it up to a massive luxury overload. After the funerals their families would file a lawsuit against Honda. Why? Cause this is Merica.

That was my reaction when I watched the video. How can a driver be going for timed laps while he is talking endlessly. Hats off to Honda. Its a seriously fast car. But this video is a joke. The whole point is how the Honda is faster, but they don't test on the same day, the driver has an agenda, he is talking endlessly during the timed lap on both the Audi and the BMW, and he loses the back end on the BMW and laughs about it. Maybe the Honda is faster, but this video is no evidence. |

True. It was a Honda sponsored test and true they chose ideal conditions for the civic but it's still OK bang for the buck. I want a cheap car I can load 200k onto so I can have a nice car when I'm not driving for work. I hope they bring it here.

I'm all for honda I love civic's, but I would never pay that kind of money for a civic just never. Give me a s2k variant beneath the nsx id pay 40k+ for that not a civic. There hasn't been a civic type r in the states for almost 20 years there's a reason for that.
