Before BMW
*Volvo S40 2.0T *manual* don't remember to much from this car other then the Turbo being awful. Got to own it after my father bought a new car.

*Volvo C30 T5 R-Design MY08 *manual* (sold) *Great fun car to drive with the legendry T5 from Volvo impossible to kill that engine and tunable beyond all reasonable accounts, it biggest drawback was being FWD without a proper differential witch made it very scary to drive in corners. A close relative to the legendry Ford Focus RS from back then, now that was a popper young adult drivers car with everything you needed it to be also had the Volvo T5 in it so it was epic to tune. Regret not getting an Focus Rs back then loved the looks of the car.

*BMW 118d F20 MY2013 *manual* (sold) Easy commuter not much fun of a car tbh ownd int for quite a short while then sold it and got later the m235i.

*BMW m235i MY2015 *manual* (sold) On of the most fun cars to drive back then when you wanted to play around and mess around easy tuning later on was a great thing also, but horrible for long distance driving or commuting the suspension was so firm and on the runflats back then was terrible ride, not even comfort mode helped. And in Sport mode was a great way to break your back.

*BMW X1 xDrive20D MY2016 *manual* (sold) Back then called it the most underrated car for A to B driving now its quite popular. It ran so cheaply i remember it.

*BMW i3s MY 2019 (sold) *Fun car to zip around town and commute very fast from 0-50 km/h great red light runner honestly, unless its wet, snow, slush or anything but dry roads. But a bit to firm on the 20" small tires even though the S hade wider back tires it was not a to pleasant ride.

*BMW i4 m50 MY2022 (sold) *Full stop best car i ever owned, great to drive when wanting to drive spirited, great for long trips, great for A to B just great in so many ways. Not a track car thought never was meant to be one ever so.

*BMW i3 MY2019 (current) *perfect commuter car and for town driving still one of the best you can have when it comes to easy commuting and also being able to zip around town where space is tight. Still to firm for me even though the current one is on 19" wheels.

Future BMW: Awaiting the release of BMW i3 m60 (NK) touring version, as next car.

1994 BMW 325is M-Technic (essentially first gen E36 USM3 without the engine) in Alpine White on Hurricane fabric - I loved that car and it got me hooked on BMWs

1993 BMW M3 (Euro) coupe in Mugello Red on Hurricane fabric - Drove this in Europe. Bone stock and in 8/10 condition. I wrenched on it and turned its mechanically condition to 9.5/10. Awesome to wrench on the S50B30 engine with its ITBs and shimmed valve adjustment.

2004 BMW 330i sedan in Oxford Green metallic on Tan - Wonderful car all around. Last series of the E46 sedans, so all the weak points were addressed and it was a very solid car.

Current:
2014 BMW F10 535i in Carbon Black metallic on Black - Daily driver. Perfect for commuting with the comfort seats and HUD. M-package inside and out in carbon black. Just a classic 5-series.

2014 BMW X5 35i in Sparkling Brown on Black - Wife's daily driver. Purchased this recently so I can work on both N55's at the same time. Keeps it simple. Currently going through some maintenance items, but just an all around nice family vehicle. Traded our 2005 Lexus RX330, so we're back in the 21st century.

Great cars! Do you have any memories or pics from the 325is M-Technic?

Gotta dig those up. I'm Dutch too by the way.
The seller at the time sold it to me as if the previous owner loved ///M cars so much that he stuck M-badges everywhere. I later come to find out it is a rare series of the first gen E36's. They only came in AW, delivered in US only and 150 were made.

Very similar to this one, only different wheelset. Made a few grand on resale, but still sold way below $10k. They're still only worth around $15k in good condition, since it's really just another 325is. I loved the interior though.

I take it you're an S65 fan.

I loved my E92 335, I owned it the longest of any of my previous BMW's (apart from my E46 M3). At my elevation, anything N/A needs a lot of help to feel as potent as the turbo and supercharged cars here. It's a major reason why when I considered the S65 I ended up dismissing it (and why my S54 ultimately left the garage).

If I ever get out of this state down to somewhere that is reasonable for altitude, it's going straight back to the top 3 on project cars to procure.

I'm an S65 fan for sure, but there's a possibility one may leave in the future so I can acquire a 996 Turbo.

Most likely candidate would be the Melbourne Red one. 60k miles and bone stock. RBs and TBs done!
