I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the Seagrass 16 year. I really like the regular bottle but am having a hard time justifying paying 3x as much for this one.

I felt the same way so I went in with a few other people to lessen the blow. I'll let you know when we crack it.

Binny's in Champaign had Jameson on sale this weekend for $16.99/bottle, so I grabbed two for about what I usually pay for one here in Chucktown.

Yeah, I am not sure if they are really worth it after having them for a year. I prefer to not have to hand wash everything, and they are not good about any kind of defect replacement. I probably wouldn't buy anything from Norlan again. When I originally got them I ordered 8 and gave some as gifts as well. One of them out of the 8 had a defect that allowed moisture inside the glass, but Norlan refused to replace or anything, which is bullshit for a glasses that costs $25-30 each.

I am confused by the website, and what I got. The black tumbler is HEAVY. But their website lists it at something like 200g. The clear whisk(e)y like you had there is listed at 500g but its DELICATE, and even if 500 is for 2 glasses, it's not anything like the tumbler. It was pretty cool to sip my last Glenfiddich 15 in that clear, with that distinct air gap.

The black tumblers are nice, they have that ridged bottom that you can muddle straight in the glass. I like those better than the clear ones after using both for a while.

From my experience ordering from online retailers for alcohol, you will generally pay more. Here is another option I've used:
