I believe I was uber lucky finding a September registered (60 Plate) 2200 mile example on my door step (Eastern BMW – Newbridge, Edinburgh) for a little over £40K - There are quite a few on the AUC website but at that sort of money they tend to have double if not treble the miles on them and will almost certainly be on a 10 Plate. I guess It’s swings and roundabouts though as I didn’t get as much for my M3 as I believed it was worth…… My current thinking is that I'll run it as is for a couple of months but will definitely remap at some point down the line, however we then start getting into the whole traction/LSD debate - and that point, I’ll start wishing I’d gone for an M6! I think you got a great deal there mate. I have managed to secure a deal on a August 10 plate with 4k miles on the clock for £36.5k with servicing included till 2015. Guess what id like to know is 2 years from now what will it be worth? Will the impact of the new one coming on the market hit the values of ours hard?

Sounds like you got a right good deal also - the inclusive 5 year servicing for sure has to help! One of the many things I've learned over the years (often to my cost) is the more you spend on a car the more you loose A 6-Series is never going to hold its relative value as well as say a 3-Series Coupe but the fact we've chosen Diesels will mitigate some of the inevitable depreciation. IMO I don’t believe the new model will affect the value of 2½ -3 year old cars too much, it tends to be newer cars that take a bit of a hit when a new model arrives…..
Fitted a pair of Matte Black Grilles to mine at the weekend and I'm certainly feeling the differance |

I also have amtte black grilles. I bought mine from Bimmian. The fitment is perfect and the difficulty out of 10 was a 2.5

Bought off eBay -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-BLACK-Gril...item5d2b41c9f9 Not the best fit if I'm being brutally honest - Certainly not compared to the OEM anyway. Maybe I'm expecting too much for £64.00 delivered......! Takes approx 10-15 minutes to fit & relatively straight forward job.... I'm now thinking I'll get the outer part (they easily comes apart) painted either Sapphire or just plain gloss Black and leave the slats Matte. Quick Pic - |

My dealer has two 2010s Verts for crazy money off and I really want my wife to get one. I am bored to death of her 328x iDrive its like BMWs version of a Camry to me.
They have .9% financing and are over 20K off list. I like the car a lot for that money and I like the car a lot anyway. Working on a deal now, any reason that I should not get one from those who have experience is appreciated.....Thanks.....Steve

Not currently, mine was a 645Ci, which I foolishly traded on an SL 550.
I have a new F13 on order, does that count??

SL vs 645Ci ride: SL felt bigger, softer, more willing to body-roll. Nice car, but more bling than brawn.

I just bought an 08’ 650i on a great deal!
Custom exhaust, 22’’ JWL rims, a totally redone engine. This car drives so beautifully and is so loud it’s like a race car! Officially part of the BMW family 💯 |
