That's because they are walking contradictions. Just look at their actions over time. They change Depending on current events, and often contradict their past decisions.

Well, today was a new firearm day. I know I already had 2 .22 pistols but this one was calling me. And lucky me while self defense handguns are selling out in many places this type is not. Here she is with the old ones.

Gonna go to the range on Sunday and plink away. No idea if the factory zeros that sight or not. Guessing not.

What the heck? Why are they so long? Is it a suppressor or something?

Well the picture with the really long barrel IS a suppressor attached. So yeah, suppressor.

Not wild about it. It has had some teething problems and I haven't run that many rounds through it.

Thinking about buying the after market kit that allows cleaning the Mark IV without all the gyrations of reassembly next.

Ah good to know. I'm looking into buying my first FA and a few buddies have suggested Sig P226 Legion or P320.

I'd definitely go P320 if your first gun.

Legion is an enthusiast gun. Like a 458.

You wanna start with something easier to manipulate.

I second the P320, the reviews are solid and it’s good enough for the US Army. Although, I think a P226 or P229 would be a good option you like Sig Sauers. My first pistol was a Beretta APX Centurion and then I bought a Glock 17.5 MOS which I shoot a little better than the APX. I would rent a few and see what feels best in your hand.

Well if you put it that way I'm all for the 458 but I do see where you're coming from.

Yeah I'll probably go with them in a few weeks to the range so I can get a feel of each one.

I have my eye on taking an Urban Shotgun class and as I look over the requirements, I realize I have some shopping to do.

They want me to have a single-point sling, so I have to swap out my Vickers 2-point (mounted to OEM locations) for the class. I ordered a Magpul MS4 QDM sling and a mount from GG&G that places a QD socket where I want to connect a single-point sling to my Benelli M4.

I also need a dump pouch and some type of shell carrier. I'm still undecided on the shell carrier at the moment, but I did pick up a dump pouch in Black from T Rex.

I have an M400 but not the tread. It was my first rifle, I think it’s a good choice

Just a quick little build. Took a couple months to get the scope due to demand/back order. Need to break her in once it cools down.

So a while back my wife said no more guns (for a while), we just bought her a new bike and a puppy so I'm thinking I might have to fill the empty spots in my safe.....I might buy her a .357 Henry to go with her Smith & Wesson 686, and then something for me....

.458 is for when zombie tyrannosaurus rex's attack.

Not ashamed to say I have an AR chambered in .458.

I think I am SOL if there are zombie T-Rex.

Most powerful weapon I have is either a slug in a 12 gauge or 30-06 in a Garand. Kinda think a T-Rex walks both of those off.

Got a bolt action .338 Lapua as well, if the zombie T-Rex's are really far away.

I love the .458, it is a wonderful deer round. It's shocking with a properly placed shot how little damage it does to the meat but literally stops them in their tracks. Really thinking I may get a .458 Hamr. It should get me into the 400yrd range. Using an eliminator III I am already super confident at 300yrds with the standard .458.
