Interesting how so many people have so much time to hate on people who do this. Just let people do what makes them happy. Everyone has a lot going on in there lives, if it gives someone happiness to slap a fake M badge, then so be it. Let them have their sliver of happiness.
Does people doing this take away from your experience of driving your car? No. Just enjoy your car and your ultimate driving machine. |

Got to love that dedication. I'm figuring with the original cost of the car, plus the cost of the trim upgrade, the person may have had enough to buy an actual E46 M3.
To answer an earlier question of why it should bother some and not others for the fake badges? It feels, to me, in the same arena as "stolen valour". Now, stolen valour is a crime and an egregious insult to those who have served with distinction in the military whereas plastering a couple of badges on your bonnet is more tragic humour. Nevertheless, both are masquerading in order to gain underserved accolades from the ignorant. The similarity continues in that, with both fake badges and stolen valour, those who perpetuate it tend to go overboard. In the case of stolen valour, it can end poorly for everyone https://www.smh.com.au/national/pow-...1002-ggid.html, but in the case of fake badges? Well, for those in the know it ends with a... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm guessing if your car is featured in this thread, then you don't have to worry about Biden's new tax plan?

I recently posted a story on instagram of me holding a new M3 badge from my e46 up to the truck of my 1er and people losttttttt it. It was a joke, of course..
Except one guy, who claimed his brother had one on his 335i because "it's single turbo" so he deserved one. As Jeremy Clarkson once said, "Anyone who puts an M badge on a BMW that isn't an M BMW, has to go to prison." |
