Picking up our new puppy on Sat - a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Let the games begin! Any do's or don'ts for introducing the puppy to the cats?

Just give the cats plenty of escape and climbing routes and move anything the cats or the puppy might knock over in their running around. Other than that, let them at it and they will sort out their new hierarchy pretty soon. Just be prepared that every time the cats do something, the dog is going to jump up and bolt over to check out whats going on.

Right now we are going with Lilly (tuxy) and Honey Bear (tortie), but also several nicknames are vying for space. That is just a tuft of hair, kind of an eyebrow.

Our cat's name is Samantha but we never call her that; it's Kitty or Baby or something else. Don't know why we do that, never did it to any of our other cats.

Was woken up this morning to a racket in the house at 230am. The cats were chasing a

around the house. They get in somewhere on occasion and when they the cats either kill it or I capture em on a window drape. Now they are sleeping and I'm wide awake with a long day ahead of me. Life of a cat how blissful.

She’s doing pretty good for an old girl. The people at her specialist vet are quite surprised with her age. They all think she is far younger.
