The Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK
Mötley Crüe did a good cover but I like this original version better.

Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick were an unbeatable team.
RIP Burt.

My favorite piece from the big band era of my parents: Tommy Dorsey & orchestra - I'm Getting Sentimental Over You (mid-1930s)
And another well-known song from the era -- Glenn Miller & orchestra in a colorized film version of In the Mood from 1941

Nice to see that they're still going. Been around for a long time and always loved them.

I don't know if you know the story of Glenn Miller. During WW2, he led the Army Air Forces Orchestra and was commissioned as a Major in the USAAF. In December of 1944, the band was moving from the UK to France and Miller rode in a utility plane across the channel. The plane was lost and music lost a giant.

Marty Robbins was a "country" singer/songwriter who, at least in his early years, had a lot of pop appeal.
This 1961 tune Don't Worry features guitar with fuzztone -- not very countryish. Great tune.

Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
1967 with a very young-looking Grace Slick The psychedelic video seems to me does not wear well -- very '60s
