Newest 2013 BMW M6 Coupe and Cabrio (F13 / F12) Spy Photos
BIMMERPOST NEWS Newest 2013 BMW M6 Coupe and Cabrio (F13 / F12) Spy Photos It's been a while since the upcoming F13/F12 M6 coupe and cabrio have been spotted, but we now bring you a set of photos for both. One of the M6 prototypes has lost the camouflage on its rear lights, giving us an idea of just how aggressive it will look. Although much of the front fascia remains covered in camouflage tape, it will resemble the recently revealed 6-series Coupe (official info and photos), but with an M styled bumper of course. The front brakes feature huge calipers with cross drilled rotors front and rear. Traditional quad exhausts are seen at the rear, surrounded by a still-camouflaged rear bumper which will also sport M-styling. The camouflage on the roof could possibly also indicate the presence of a carbon fiber roof underneath. The 2013 M6 will share the same motor and drivetrain as the upcoming M5 - a tuned version of the turbocharged 8 cylinder motor from the X5 and X6 M (the BMW S63 engine, a 4.4L twin turbo, twin scroll, direct injection). The new M6 Coupe is expected to debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. The M6 Cabrio will follow later in 2012. An M6 Gran Coupe (4 door) is rumored to arrive in late 2013. M6
Looks great! I noticed the test mule is using the same light weight brakes as the M3 EVO. The coupe also has camo on the roof: possible cf roof for the 2013 M6? Has this been confirmed? |

It looks like it is floating in the videos. I hope they stiffen up the suspension.
But I like this m6 so much better than the last. Look awesome! |

I hope it looks a little more intense than it seems it may look. The front fascia looks like the standard trim F12, as do the sides. I hope I'm wrong. /:

Front and front bumper don't look very aggressive.
Not impressed with the new 6 anyways.

How come on the convertible the lower parts of the front bumper, rear bumper, and side skirts aren't covered in camo?

Still the same ugly rear calipers as every other BMW to date. The fronts are getting better over time; don't know why they're still stick in the proverbial mud with the back half.
