lol sorry I meant if you painted them matte black as well. I like your choice too. It's unique.

I'll add one more - this one seems to be a bit popular on DeviantArt.
This car was parked in my backyard during a neighbor's party, and I got to know the car more than its owner But I was going up a residential street a week ago and found its home. A $100k collector's vehicle in a one story home I might randomly knock on their door one day and ask to take a look at it. Last edited by TWiTCHY; 10-06-2008 at 08:09 PM.. |

that is just a sick shelby.
I wish I still had my 69 Camaro....I would have some jaw droppers of that car if it was still around.

BTW, what do you guys think about the watermark in the bottom right corner? I'm going to start putting them on all of my pictures just to be safe.
EDIT: My friend used to have a '82 Camaro. He bought it for $25 broken up and he and his dad started a restoration project. I think he's owned it since he was 13 or 14 years old, but sold it just a few months ago. Older muscle cars are amazing |

Here's another one that I took. I do agree about what was said on one of the Ferrari pictures I posted. It's these comments that really make you better next time.

This is a great shot. Really. Great angle, just the right amount of post-processing work. Looks good.

Actually, are those HDR shots? I just noticed that everything is outlined in a glow.

First image and third image I didn't use HDR software (photomatix). The rest of the images I did use HDR. Now despite me not using photomatix for the first and third image, I did do post processing with it playing with highlights and contrast and color.

Thanks... I still look at other people's photos and just try to get better and better. But really it's comments people make that help you become more critical of your own images. That's one of the ways to get better

1st one is wicked cool...
2nd one needs some work... the car looks AMAZING but the background needs some attention cuz it kinda distracts you from the car IMO. |

actually i lied... i would try doing a cutout of the car in PS and then using the shadow/highlight on the background to get it to come out more natural.

Great thread I see some really good shots in here... and god damn, that orange 997 GT3 is to DIE for... one of my dream cars!
Ive been abusing the hell out of my 10-22 until I save up the funds for my soon to come 70-200 f/2.8 Oh and, I would recommend a circular polarizing filter to ANYONE serious about automotive photography.... or ANY outdoor photography for that matter.. Heres some shots Ive taken over the past few months... I never get bored of this hobby..

I really like this one ... except the fact that its of a WRX (never been a fan of the cars... and the people who drive them that I've met seem to be pretty full of themselves too but thats besides the point)
nice shot |
