Is there a buying guide for the 630i convertible?
Hi all,
New here, I searched but didn't find any 6 series buyers guide. There's a 2009 630i convertible local to me thats for sale. And I was gonna stop by and check it out this week. I haven't owned a 6 series before, nor a soft-top convertible. Just wondering if there's anything specific with the 630I I should be checking out (aside from the generic stuff to look for when buying a used car) Thanks |

There are not many E Series car owners on this particular forum anymore despite the two threads below this one coming from E Series owners. None of the very active members are - it's all 2012+ F Series owners. As for buying guides generally, it's very hit and miss. I have a 2015 guide, but a thread with links to others seems to have vanished or the links no longer work. I was trying to find some for recent Audis lately, and could only find 2022.

And now that I read your question in context, I wonder if we are using "buying guide" the same way. Are you looking for tips on buying a used one? To me the term means a document that sets out all the options and packages and which ones have to be bought with which others, etc.

Like for instance the early Benz 63 series motors had bad head bolts (which were prone to corrosion) and caused catastrophic engine failure. So anyone looking at a used C63 should check to make sure the headbolts were already corrected. |
