F13 M6 roof trim
Had a look through what's already been posted here, and might've missed it. I have an F13 M6 and the driver's side roof trim (the long black piece that spans front to back, between the painted pillar and the carbon roof) lifted at the front. BMW made an attempt at repair, which consisted of using [what appears to be] number plate-like tape which has failed. I told BMW that I believed it was clips that were the issue and needed replacing, however here we are. Has anyone dealt with this type of repair previously? I'm planning to go back to BMW, but need to tell them exactly what they need to do, as apparently its not as obviously of a repair as I'd expect. Cheers

This is the listing for the Gran Coupe but the clips are the same AFAIK.
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_8683 I have "lost" the back cap and had the last clip break when the dealer washed the car against my wishes. The tech told me that it is not uncommon for the clips to fail.
