My wife and I have the same tastes. Two stores of note:

Room & Board and West Elm.

West Elm is actually owned by Pottery Barn, so there are some similarities there.

Room & Board is all US-made, but holy hell, are they expensive.

Want to guess which one my wife loves and adores?

Eventually, when I inherit my father's house, we're going to move to Gig Harbor, WA (over the bridge from Tacoma). My wife's dream is to basically sell almost everything we own except the Room & Board stuff and have them color coordinate and furnish the entire house.

Ouch. I'm saving up for that day.

On the plus side, it'll make moving easy.

You guys are all rich. I just get Wayfair stuff and replace it every few years. I gotta admit, the quality varys so much, the last kitchen table I got was crap. It cracked in a few months.

We’ve pretty much started exclusively going to Room & Board when we need something. I agree they can be pricey, but their stuff is really well made and seems like it will last forever. That and they have endless options as far as colors/materials.

I'm a rustic style guy, so anything antique, but I'm leaning more towards Tuscany/Mediterranean now, though that's more expensive. I guess you could check estate sales lol

Make sure it's made from "real" Materials like solid hardwoods, real leather, linen or cotton. I'm really big on removing artificial materials from my house where I can, including on furniture.
