So ULA is being used to launch perseverance. The fact that the boosters dont return to the launch pad like space x is lame. They should just use space x for everything instead of wasting tax payer money on an inferior launch system. Thoughts? Also the plan is to retrieve the samples in 2026. But if space x lands people on mars in 2024 he might as well retrieve the samples himself lol. Maybe they can have a return mission before NASA. Not sure if it is a one way trip tho.

Look up Tory Bruno on YouTube. He runs ULA and appears to be a pretty good guy. He explains the difference between ULA and Space X and what they specialize in. There are a few videos of them touring ULA.
