I want to have a BMW meetup in New York City sometime between March 6th and 8th
I will be travelling up to New York from March 6th to 8th and was wondering if we could get a decent size Bimmerpost meet going. I will be in my 640i coupe since I'm not yet done building the E34 turbo because the cold crept up on me.
We could do it either Saturday or Sunday. I'm not sure where to host it, but a simple meet and greet and maybe a cruise to grab food would be good. If you're interested, just comment below, and I'll update this post with the meet details once there’s enough people. It would be cool to see a variety of cars there. |

What about Orchard Beach Parking lot in the Bronx. It's near the 95 and the Hutch. Middle of winter not too many people around.

I'd suggest Liberty State Park. It's right near your hotel, and has killer views... but I'm probably not going to make it, so don't accommodate me. I'm only trying to help. The Bronx location isn't that convenient to where you're saying you'll be.

Orchard Beach does make sense as far as not having a lot of people around, can fit a ton of cars, close to I-95 and the Hutch. Foods close by in any direction

I was driving near Orchard Beach this beautiful Sunday with the top down. Nice twisty roads in the area. I pulled into the parking lot and there was a BMW meet in place. Local Bronx Boys.

I just wonder if the OP (and others) realize how inconvenient Orchard Beach is to Brooklyn and midtown Manhattan. That's where he said he was going to be.
