Rear Bumper Piece removal

Does anyone have information on how to remove the bottom bumper piece? I see 2 plastic bolts and some clips, I am going to change it to the m6 style for the quad tip setup, any info and tips are much appreciated, and as well the tools and parts required.

thanks in advance

Pulls off. But is tightly connected to bumper.

I have never removed the entire thing, but did accidentally disconnect one end. It is a series snap-in tabs. At the bottom on each end is a plastic "rivet" - the kind where you pull out the center and it comes out.

I removed it when I swapped it out with m6 type diffuser. It was a pain I remember, lots of clips which are straight forward but I remember it was connected to a bracket in the center that was tricky to remove.

You don't want to just yank on it. Can't you see most of how it's connected if you put the car on ramps and look under there?

It is very easy. Put on a pair of working gloves and take off the plastic locking pins on each side. After the first rivet is loose just use your hands between the bumper and diffuser and open the rivets one at the time gently.

Its a 5 minute job max.. :-)
