my 650 takes 2 litres of oil every 6000km, and i know that isn't normal. your car does not sound too bad, but if its asking for oil when it used to never ask for oil, it must be leaking or burning somewhere

i have to always fill 2 quarts in mine also, somewhere after 4000-5000 miles the light will always come on asking to add 2 qts. i think its "normal" for the n63/tu engines.

Oil burning issues are associated with the V8, not the I6.
Definitely not normal. |

I have heard that ccv or pcv was guilty in some cases.
Or gasket cover. But I see no leak on the floor. What I have to do to research a leak eventually? Where are the locations to see if there is a leak? |

I'm sure its quite a frustrating situation trying to figure it out. If u can't see any oil its either being burnt or it is dripping on a very hot part thats burning it off. Due to the cover under car unless its a catastrophic leak u dont usually see anything on the floor of ur drive etc. Possibly take it to a reputable mechanic that can do further testing for you. Good luck.

Perhaps the gasket oil drain under the car
I did the 2 last oil change by myself (in February 2017 and June 2019) perhaps I tighten the bolt too much.or perhaps the oil drain gasket is broken or damaged, don't know But how to see a leak under the car with the round plastic cover to access the oil drain plug? |
