Reason I brought it up is my wife actually mentioned yesterday out of nowhere, "Hey, what do you think about the 4 door M6?" I move to my new position in September. Income up, car up! Had to start my search again!

I went from a E90 M3 to a M6 GC. You would not regret it!

I took a peak at the listings today. There were a handful of great cars. I'll post them up later today with my analysis. I noticed 1 great 2014, and a bunch of 2015s that were of great value

Okay, you asked for it, here it is! The SDPLV Flying Ace Power Index Spring Preview Edition
Final Four: 1. '14 BSM/Black 20k miles $62k @ BMW of Seattle Low mileage, ZCP and a BONUS M Performance Alcantara steering wheel ($1000 add on). Pro Tip: Inquire about getting CPO added for the same asking price. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...1527/overview/ 2. '15 AW/Silver 35k miles $63k CPO @ Ferman BMW This is a good combo of warranty, mileage and pricing - A 2020 extended warranty expiration with still 1 full year of bumper to bumper left. Silverstone is also a fairly rare interior color https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...5940/overview/ 3. '14 Pure Metal Silver/Silver 23k $64k CPO owned by member Soundstream This is a Canadian special launch edition. I'm going to bet there are no other Pure Metal Silver M6 GCs in North America other than these launch editions. This is about $10k individual paint option if you were to ask BMW to allocate a build. The only other car Pure Metal was offered on was the final year of the F10 M5. The only downsides: no ZCP, questionable transferrability of Canadian CPO to US, and it'll require a bit of money and paperwork to federalize this car for US registration including changing some minor hardware and software. http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1499365 edit: there appears to be at least another 2016 Pure Metal Silver one-off car registered in Canada. Perhaps OP can opine on the Launch Edition numbers https://www.bavariabmw.ca/inventory/...6e9c56ggf92587 4. '14 BSM/SO 40k $62k CPO @ Perillo BMW This is the cheapest CPO on the market today. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9522/overview/ Honorable Mentions 1. '15 BSM/Black 20k $55k @ Auto Expo 3rd party dealer car always requires additional diligence regarding accident history and issues. But this car on paper doesn't show any of the red flags you typically see. It's posted on this list, but you will definitely want to do an in-person inspection before buying this one. This is the best combo of pricing, miles and options for any M6 GC today https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...8221/overview/ 2. '15 Mojave/Brown 45k $55k @ Coast BMW This is the cheapest dealer car today. CCB and ZCP goodies plus rare Individual options of Mojave on Amaro. High mileage for the model year. Inquire if CPO eligible or not. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...5670/overview/ 3. '14 BSM/Black 35k $59k @ Elite Motor Cars Great price, great options. 3rd party dealer car always requires additional diligence regarding accident history and issues. But this car on paper doesn't show any of the red flags you typically see. It's posted on this list, but you will definitely want to do an in-person inspection before buying this one. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9677/overview/ '15 SO/Opal White 30k $60k @ California Beemers A rare combo of SO, Opal White, ZCP and CCBs with black 343 wheels. Obviously this car was custom built to spec to someone's tastes (maybe not yours!). The M6 GC already pops out of a crowd, this will ensure you'll get noticed every day, every where. Reasonably reputable 3rd party dealer. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...0678/overview/ 5. '15 SSII/Silver 36k $63k @ Apple Sports Imports For some reason, I am in love with this car. SSII, ZCP, CCB, what's not to like? https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...1519/overview/ 6. '15 SSII/Brown 27k $65k @ All Auto German I normally don't recommend buying modified cars unless you know the owner. But this one is very unique and requires your attention. It's got about $20k of upgrades on it, appears to have Dinan tune (?), Dinan exhaust, and BBS FI wheels. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...8900/overview/ 7. '15 AW/Cohiba Brown 41k $67k owned by jokergerm Helping a fellow member out. 6MT cars had a 10% take rate give or take. You want a 6MT...here's your 6MT with ZCP and individual interior. http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1500279

Haha! It depends on how many kids! I have 2 kids, and M6 cannot and is not my full time family car. Have a X5 for that.

Yeah, I only got one and he's small right now, but I always figured my second/winter ride would be an X5M at some point. Wife has X3 for now anyways.

I just realized, your M6 doesn't have many add ons in terms of tuning or aesthetics. No extra CF exterior-trim pieces?

I got an M6GC over an M2 due to the family factor. 2 small boys in car seats. Works great! They still prefer our Yukon for road trips typically though.

Beautiful Ms all of them..... glad I got mine, but I sure wanted Silver, but I just cannot stand the Silverstone interior (personal preference)…. I love the Sakhir Orange interior I have … so Silver Exterior with SO interior would have been #1 choice for me!!!

How come you haven't added on the CF diffuser or front lip? Maybe a side-vent or side-mirror CF wrap? I'm just imagining what I would do to my dream car, so just disregard my questions I can't get past how hideous that steering wheel is hahaha. It's just so overly bulky. |

I have a lot of CF parts on my M3 so I know the dilemma. I basically did everything to satisfy what I never was able to do as a 16-22 yr old. My M6 GC (if able to go down that route eventually) car would look very similar to FlyingAce's.

Regarding the launch editions, there were 20 of them sold in total, and they were only available in Canada. The 2016 vehicle you listed would most likely have been a custom order. I can't speak for the warranty transfer. I would have suspected it would be transferrable, but have never looked into it. I might give them a call and ask and update this post if I hear anything. |

check my list now there, there's a SO/White and a Pure Metal Silver/SO. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for...but apparently SO in all combinations are pretty hard to come by.
