5 series was always my dream car - excellent blend of luxury and sportiness.
Bought 1st BMW, E60 525, in 2005 and again E60 550 in 2009. Recently moved to 3 series as I think new 3 series is more like E39 replacement than E90 replacement. F10 is simply too big and too heavy. |

I just purchased a 328i 2011 model. Deep Sea Blue Metallic, not sure how to tell if it is a certain package. If any of you know how to tell what features/package my car is I would be highly grateful.

I'm new to the forum and the bmw world. I just purchased my first one 5 days ago and I'm hooked. It's a 2008 e92 335i 6 speed and I absolutely love it.

My first is a 1995 E36 bought in 2000. Almost cried but had to move and got married. replaced it with an Audi TT, slightly modded that thing and loved it. I even got my wife an A4 but sold it after a year (she didn't like it) and got her a E46.
I was so in love with my TT and was so confident about their Quattro system but 3 year during my ownership, I almost got into a serious accident. One late night, I decided to go to my local Walmart, it was snowing so I decided to drive the TT. I was doing about 15mph and about half a block away, the light turned red so I started to break early. I skidded the whole half a block, I even pulled my e-brake but I continued to skid. The car stopped in the middle of the island (3 way each direction). Luckily, no car was passing during that time or I could have been toast. Sold it and went with other brands. Currently own a 545i E60 and X5M (our 5th and 6th BMW). Looking to get a X3 for the wife next. |

After long history of Honda VTEC engines which nothing happens before 5000 rpm or so... After driving my dad's e30 325i the low end torque is very refreshing, and BMW became one of the to do list. |

I'll troll and post again. My first was a 87 e28 528e way back when Derek Jeter was a rookie. Eight BMW's later I am now riding around in a e84 35i.
