Do I have a dip stick??

Hi Ive been told the N63TU engine has a dip stick but for the life of me I can’t find one. Can anyone help with the location please?

no manual oil dipstick much to my chargrin! you can only check your oil level through the cars I drive system …. its very irritating.

Don't feel bad, when I got our 650 I looked for 10 min. then decided to read the manual.

Your confusion is probably coming from BMW's turn back to a real dipstick vs the electronic dipstick they went to at the beginning of many of the F-chassis generation BMW models.

You don't mention a model year which puts the conversation in the "general/generic" category...and you also may be conflating the news that BMW returned a physical dipstick to the new G-chassis models with their iteration of the N63 engine (I believe it is the N63TU3).

In the future...with questions like this...you may want to consider adding specifics or inquiring if your model/model year/build date applies to the question at hand because BMW can/will/does change things mid-stream.
