The front AC/heat control panel is the IHKA. The rear AC/heat control panel is the FKA. If searching for info on the TIS website for the rear AC control panel...type FKA into the search box.

Thank you. Found it on newtis as well. Called local bmw they do not give out part numbers. Sad to hear that. Its called "repair kit A/C control panel". $768.72 new. No way!!!! Found it on ebay for $270 like new.
This is with heated rear seats, option code S4NBA. Now to order it. Next step how to take the center rear console apart? |

Box is unchecked but it will not let me click on it
First is front seat heating. Then rear climate. Not grayed out but does nothing. Could it be that it is broken and the car will not let me click it?? Active comfort ventilation is grayed out and active timer 1 and 2 |

Was the engine running? The parked car ventilation and the two active timer events (to turn on the HVAC blower) requires the engine NOT be running...with only the START button pressed (ignition position K15):

Or is the issue the fan/blower? The fan/blower for the rear FKA has an output stage. Here's some info about that: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...-motor/XLHGvRk Or perhaps there's a connection between the busted AUTO knob and the rear FKA?

Will have to check all of this out come friday. I did message an old friend that works at bmw as a tech. Just hasn't read my message just yet.
I noticed it once my little girl said that no air was reaching her in the back seats. Poor baby. |

If you manually select air distribution to the floor vents...then select either dash or defrost vents (for yourself) instead of using AUTO...air can reach the rear passenger by way of the floor vents instead of the just the rear vent in the center console.
