It is simple, I keep my cars longer than I keep my wives. I had a 2004 Mercedes CLK 500 cabriolet for 17 years which I sold this year for my Z4 M40i. 😎

BMW considers it enough of a real M to put it there, he should remove it to appease you?

Go for it.

At least my opinion is if bmw put it on it's legit. If you want to debadge go for it if not it's stock. I don't see an issue

That's actually standard for markets that aren't in the US. An import car might actually have that legitimately. Although equally likely the owner might have added it after the fact.
