650i Upholstery
Hi Everyone- I just got my first BMW (2007 650i Convertible). Need to reupholster the front two seats. Not sure where to look to find seat covers that will match (tan/beige). Can anyone give me any ideas? Thanks in advance!

There several options. First, you could check if BMW still sells them. Pricey, but original. Second, you could look on eBay for a nicer set of used seats. Seats come up fairly often and probably 2004-10 will fit. Third, go to an auto upholstery shop and ask what it would cost to do them from scratch. I doubt there any any aftermarket seat covers. Not enough demand.

Also, if looking to buy covers new or used, make sure you know if you have standard seats or sport seats. The sport seats have the separate thigh bolster on the bottom. Also, it may be that convertible front seat covers are different than the coupe, perhaps based on how the seat belt attaches. Anyway, out of curiosity I just looked and if they are available new covers will run about $1,800 per seat, or $3,600 total. That's probably a bit more than you want to spend on a 16 year old car.
