Thanks!!
So what should I be considering doing to this? I'm dechroming the side vents in about or week or so to match the rest of the black pack look. Thought about Bimmercode to have a play with some settings. Would like to link my iPhone up but not car play, would rather mirror it, Cars a 2016 FYI |

That's one hell of a spec - congrats! These cars respond really well to ECU tunes so I would consider that from a reputable source. For me, the next thing would be dialing in the stance with lowering + spacers, tune & exhaust. Enjoy!

bimmercode is cool, gets rid of legal warnings and lots of other useful things.
depends where you want to go with car? more power downpipes & remap will see close to 750hp (careful with torque as clutchs can slip) my 2017 came with mirroring but there is lots of carplay products about

Thanks people!
I've had some quick cars in the past Aston Vantage, 911 Turbo etc but nothing at 600BHP+ so to be honest power isn't top of my agenda. I'd like to spend a year getting used to the car as it is and then look at power upgrades down the line. That's what I normally do, when you're no longer getting the excitement from it its time to look at tuning for me, personal preference. I think some spacers to the rear could benefit the stance. We've got a lot of speed bumps in the UK and the car sites pretty low as it is but rides well so unsure whether I would want to compromise the current ride quality. Exhaust - coming from a tuned 640d the exhaust note on the competition is pretty nice as is, a welcome change from a diesel! I think you can do something with the flaps to add some audio, is that right? |

nice i did the same upgrade, you will see a vacume solonoid on the reaer of each exhaust, switch car into sports plus engine mode and they will open (shine torch in exhaust) then just cable tie
increases the tone on normal driving, im looking at spacers and lowering debating on: 10mm front & 12mm Rear 12mm Front & 15mm Rear Eibach gives a nice drop with 20mm all round and keeps the ride almost OEM (did this on my 640 below)

And here's my baby in SMB.
In response to your original question about mod's, I chose to do Akropovic cat-back exhaust, rear diffuser from 3D Design, black chrome grill and CF lip spoiler, black chrome side vents, SMB colored inserts in place of the US DOT required reflectors, and black wrap on the little silver inserts on the door handles. SMB is a beautiful color, especially in the sun - congrat's on your purchase! |

Sure is, mix of Silverstone, Schwarz Black, Carbon FIbre & Alcantara, A lovely place to be. The full alcanatara wheel is really nice and a pleasure to drive with, just have to keep it clean!!

Yeah that's what I've heard about alcantara wheels. Maybe keep a pair of driving gloves on hand. I've heard the oils in the skin can prematurely wear it out and cause unsightly darkening rather quick.

Looking at you photos I think rear diffuser would look good. I went for a simple replacement of the original rear undertray. |

I like that rear diffuser, do you have a link please?? Also your competition badge, is it slightly wider than the M6 badge? I’m struggling to find one that fits perfectly........ |
