Adaptive Headlight Malfuntion/ Low Beam Failure

I have a 2012 F13 640i with now 170,000 miles(original owner/ Euro delivery)…recently I got Adaptive Headlight Malfunction warning combined with right low beam failure(I have Xenon headlights)….My first thought was failure of the headlight control module as I have researched on line ……I decided to just try replacing Xenon bulb…..it turns out that was the problem, a burnt out bulb….has anyone else gotten both warnings for just bulb failure. I ask because my other car 2014 F32 has had xenon bulb failure but when that happened, just got bulb failure warning…did not get adaptive headline malfunction warning, despite that car also having adaptive headlights…
