I like the front lip and rear trunk lid but the diffuser doesnt appeal to me....

I think it fattens up the rear end nicely. It's too narrow in back stock and empty on bottom. Needs more junk in the trunk and this pulls it off nicely if that's what you're looking for especially on a darker color.

How does it attach? Does it use stock mounting bolts or ghetto style double back tape?

Every ricer kit I have ever seen never holds up long term, I love the look of the carbon but wonder how it installs and how well it will hold up.

It depends on the piece, as a whole they use a combination of OEM mounting locations/bolts and the 3M tape as well.

The pieces should be installed by a shop familiar with the new M6 and high-quality Vorsteiner products. - If the pieces are correctly installed they will hold up just as OEM pieces, if not better.
