F12 M6 to G82 M4???
Anyone made that switch? I’ve driven several G82’s at COTA in Austin but never on the road more than a mile or two. My F12 is a 2012 and it’s time for something newer. The M8 just doesn’t do anything for me. Any input from those that have made the switch, good or bad? I know, more of a GT vs more of a boy racer/ track car…

Last year since lease was up test drove and even place the custom order for almost fully loaded G82 but when the car arrived at dealership, decided to go with the second M8. Believe me you will miss S63 engine if you go I6 engine. But if M8 really doesn't work for you, you can get G82. It's a great car almost the same size of your M6 but less luxurious and more sporty. BTW if you plan to go for G82 your insurance goes up exactly for the reason you mentioned. I got quote for 2025 M4CX at around 40k cheaper than my M8 and both insurance rates were the same ![]()
