FMIC options 2015 f06 650 n63tu?

Sorry all, if I just stink at searching...

I can’t seem to find any FMIC upgrades besides the 3000 Dinan one, for a 2015 f06 650 gc n63tu... https://www.dinancars.com/product/d3...w-f13-650i-tu/

That’s a tough price to go for, while it would be great to own.

I thought Wagner or VRSF would be options, but as I try to price check and compare, seems like they support 640i, not 650.

Anyone else running intercooler upgrade on a 2014+ 650i f06? (Not sure it matters GC Vs Coupe). Which one? Where to buy?

I don’t want to run meth on this car, but will shut down my mod bug really quickly if Dinan is the only option.

You don't need to change IC if you don't go over 700 BHP.

Downpipes and custom tune is all you need. You can buy also CAI but rather for sound than hp gains.

I obviously need to learn more ... I thought it had both and was going off of bm3 stage 2 requirements... 😞

And I didn’t realize it was safe for 650 to go stage 2 with just dp’s... that’d be Great if so though...

Great! I’m doing one step colder ngk plugs, and new coils soon, with next service... but will wait on pulling the trigger on https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ar-desig...01-02042-blk~/ ar design high flow catted dps, until I’ve enjoyed stage 1 a bit. There’s a goodyou tube sound example, they’re so subtle, it’s great.

I wouldn't recommend those. Even high flow/race cats can get damaged from bm3 stage 2 on the n63tu. I have personally seen melted cores. You need/should go catless dps.

Yeah, but from the only sound clips I could find on YouTube, seems it just gets way louder and less refined than I’d prefer... I had Ar design race cats on my 535 n54, and they sound and perform great!

Were the cores you personally saw melted from AR design or another manufacturer? (Maybe doesn’t matter)...

Alternatively I guess I could compensate for catless with more muffle?

Thanks for your advice!

I run Arm catless with muffler deletes, basically full straight pipes. It's loud and deep, sounds like a v8 should sound like. Catless also lets you hear the turbo spoil which is the best part imo. You can run race cats but over time they will damage and hurt your performance.

Have any sound clips of the turbo spool?

Where do you find this number? I have a 650i with a tune and cat back exhaust, they claim it's at 550hp. Should I upgrade the intercoolers? Or would it not make a difference?
