Sponge Bob indeed... Most wheel aligners only touch front wheels in our cars, the most likely reason being that the adjustment on rear axle is hard work - plastic covers that need to be removed and reinstalled, so most people just don’t put in the effort. That’s a shame as the rear axle alignment makes a massive difference to how the car drives - as any high power rear wheel drive car.

The other reason to find someone who knows what they do is that dealers would just use BMW factory recommended values, but both axles having adjustment, a knowledgeable technician can adapt the settings to your driving habits/conditions, and still be within tolerances. If the technician doesn’t ask you any questions (what do you prefer, how do you use the car etc.) go away and find someone else...
