The AC compressor magnetic clutch is switched by the Junction Box Electronic module on pin 7 of the 47 pin connector (A34 1B). The A34 is located behind the glove compartment.

You con check for power to the clutch at connector X13-1B
This is the connector to the magnetic clutch (see Y1)

You can also check the resistance on the clutch coil at this point to assure continuity through the coil.
