A diagnostic check from a competent vehicle air con specialist should be able to tell.
I recently lost cold air and fortunately, like a few others, it just needed a recharge.
The mobile air con company I used was well recommended and carried on board a rather costly Denso machine which only needs to connect to the high pressure valve. During the process the machine did pick up a couple of small blockages which it cleared.
Could it possibly be a blockage? Only a check will tell.
