Maybe ShotSpotter should make their technology suck less. According this it doesn't detect actual gunshots on 90% of the triggered sounds -

There have also been numerous reddit threads about how it rarely works and winds up using police resources to check out incidents that don't exist, among other issues like invasion of privacy, warrantless search, etc.
But yeah the burble tunes are trash
