Chiming in here. My 650i is a 2011 model. I've owned it for almost 3 years, and it just ticked over 100'000km. It's been fairly trouble free, despite having the dreaded pre-TU engine. Major costs over the last three years:
* turbo coolant lines
* radiator
* coolant lines
* water pump
* 1x injector
* all plugs and coils (my own preventative maintenance)
* belt tensioner (my own preventative maintenance)
* control arm bushings
The injectors are all index 9 so they need replacing at some point, and one of the pulleys is chirping but other than that the car has been very reliable.
