I agree, this is what small claims court is for.

I wouldn't do the full out social media attack unless it's the last resort. Problem with small claims is, you're throwing more money into the problem. It at least costs hundreds to serve the company and to file paperwork.

Just tell the owner to claim through his insurance. He does have insurance right?
