I specifically wanted petrol, as I had my first diesel car with my last car, and ... no thanks. Even just the goop on the occasional petrol pump handle is enough to put me off, but I'm not keen on how they drive either.
I will say that I've heard good, perhaps 'great', things about the diesel, both from reviewers and from dealers (but don't trust them, they have their own motives). But I just don't think it's for me. Plus I just wanted the fastest version of this car, if there were an M6 GT, I'd have had my eye on that!
